Information Map/Guide 2008
Maps are the most requested piece of tourist/visitor information. Over 90% of visitors to the Chamber of Commerce and the Bracebridge Visitor Information Centre ask for a map before anything else. Local residents also want our map. We direct 99% of tourists and visitors to accommodation, attractions, shopping and restaurants using the Bracebridge & Area Information Map/Guide.
Distribution is carefully targeted and of the thousands of maps printed for 2007, none were left by July.
To maintain the high quality and accuracy of information available through your Chamber and the Information Centre and if the interest is shown, we will produce 15,000 Bracebridge & Area Information Map/Guides for 2008. Targeted distribution will begin in February.
The Information Map/Guide is displayed and distributed at trade shows, border crossings, at over 80 Ontario tourist information outlets, CAA offices, the Chamber offices throughout Muskoka and surrounding areas, area businesses, and included in conference packages and mailings.

BUSINESS COACH TAPE SERIES
The Chamber is offering André Bčlanger Business Coach Tapes to its members to borrow for 2 weeks at a time:
André Bčlanger has worked for more than fifteen years teaching and developing systems, tools, and techniques to help entrepreneurs reach their goals. Earlier in his career, André felt dissatisfied with the quality and direction of business education. Something was missing – the methods did not work for him. With the help of his father/mentor, they created a new foundation for entrepreneurs.
He believes that by solidifying the foundation of a business, owners will be free to maximize their skill, knowledge, and goals, — a successful small business means a healthy economy. He lectures throughout Canada and The United States, working with the private industry, the health care sector, various Colleges and Universities, and different government organizations.
